Biography

Yury Vladimirovich Piyagin began his professional career in 1994. He served in units combating economic and white-collar crimes, subsequently leading criminal law departments in the banking sector and legal organizations, where he handled cases involving distressed assets and debt recovery.

He graduated with honors from the Moscow Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. He has been an attorney since 2023. He defends corporate executives and other clients in economic and white-collar criminal cases and represents the interests of victims.

Cases

Dismissal of criminal proceedings against a company executive. Defense of a company executive during the preliminary investigation stage. The criminal case was dismissed by the head of the Investigative Committee's investigative body in one of Moscow's districts due to the absence of a criminal event. The case was concluded on rehabilitating grounds.
Successive mitigation of preventive measures for the head of a Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FSUP).
